Impenetrable Place

This instrumental’s title, “Impenetrable Place,” comes from our tendency to hide our vulnerabilities ever more expertly as we age, until the sad truth reveals itself to our minds, that we have, indeed, made ourselves impenetrable to everyone. What effects does that have on our relationships? The mood of the instrumental evokes that feeling and tries to explore the emotions behind that question. It opens with a saturated electric piano accompanied by clean guitars, bass, low-keyed drums, and psychedelic synths, then transitions between this feel and a slightly more aggressive sound as the guitars distort.
